The training year for employees in child care centers is from January 1 to December 31. Every employee must participate in a minimum of ten hours continuing education each year.

The training year for family child care home owners/directors and group child care home owner/director/employees is based on the date the original registration/license was received. The training dates are the anniversary date from one year to another. For example, if the registration/license was received on September 15th, the training year is from September 15th of one year to September 14th of the next year. The training year would begin each year on September 15th. Each owner/director/employee must participate in a minimum of ten hours continuing education each year.
