The course presents research-based best practices related to creating safe, secure, responsive, and nurturing relationships in early childhood learning environments.
The goal of Georgia's Social Emotional Early Development Strategies (SEEDS): Behavior Expectations and Classroom Rules course is to help Georgia's early learning professionals understand children's behavior and how that relates to setting clear behavior expectations and creating classroom rules to promote positive behaviors.
The goal of the SEEDS: Count Me In course is to provide early care and education professionals with general information on how to successfully include all children in their learning environments. It will introduce the profession's definitions for inclusion, and outline the type of practices and supports necessary to achieve high quality inclusion. Laws that support inclusion will be explained, as well as how to seek additional support for children who may qualify for Babies Can't Wait or Preschool Intervention programs.
The goal of The Pyramid Model in Early Childhood Environments course is to provide an overview of this key tool and provide examples of its application in early childhood environments.
The goal of the Intentional Teaching and Planning with the GELDS course is to help early care and learning professionals understand Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS) learning domains and implement this knowledge in classroom planning.

The goal of the Emergent Literacy: Print Knowledge course is to provide teachers with strategies to help children develop print knowledge to support their emergent literacy skills.
The goal of the Active Supervision in Child Care Programs course is to provide an overview of active supervision in a proactive way to create safer environments for children in child care programs. The course will discuss specific approaches of observing and evaluating the child care environment, review planning resources, and identify strategies to develop and implement active supervision plans. It will also demonstrate the process of embedding reflective practices as part of professional growth around active supervision.
